Recent Work

  • The 'Journey' Interview Series

In life, it’s impossible to know the details of a person’s journey simply by looking at them. We all have our own story of a journey that has brought us to where we are today. Every journey includes adversity. Ideally, that adversity gives birth to a process that will eventually lead to our breakthroughs and successes in life. However, even in our successes, setbacks come into play. The good news is: every setback sets the stage for a major comeback. My interview series has been around since the ladder part of 2014. I decided to revamp the interview series in 2019 to focus even more on “The Journey’s” of people from all walks of life.

I’ve interviewed an impressive list of people that includes a Grammy-nominated producer, Billboard Hot 100 musician, celebrity DJs, former NBA player, Super Bowl Champion, MLB All Star, former Harlem Globetrotter, and politicians.

  • Documentary Series

My production company Intern Media prides itself on its keen ability to explore the depths of a person’s life journey. My Short Story Series, which is presented by Intern Media, gives viewers an exclusive look into the lives of both prominent and common people — real people with real stories.

  • The Like Father Like Son Podcast

What started out as a 5-week series during the pandemic — where my father and I reacted to each episode of ‘The Last Dance’ documentary — has evolved into a weekly sports show. As co-hosts, we debate trending and underreported topics pertaining to professional sports and more.

We recorded 90 live online shows before deciding to launch the official LFLS Podcast.

  • The Black History Month Project

In 2017, I decided to travel alone to Georgia and Alabama because I had become extremely interested in visiting some of the origins of the Civil Rights Movement. Places like the Ebenezer Baptist Church, The King Center, the Atlanta home that Martin Luther King, Jr. grew up in as a child, the Edmund Pettus Bridge, The National Memorial For Peace And Justice, the Alabama State Capitol, MLK’s parsonage in Montgomery, the home of the late Dr. Richard H. Harris (a captain with the famed 99th Squadron Tuskegee Airmen during WWII), The Legacy Museum, and the 16th Street Baptist Church.

  • i Change The Narrative

i Change The Narrative is a social campaign designed to inspire, support, and empower Black men and Black boys through a multi-layered media approach. I was brought on in March of 2023 to manage and direct their social media platforms as well as provide creative direction for their podcast and documentary work.

  • The Thrive In Design Podcast

Nicole Lashae Ben, CEO and Design Strategist, started Thrive In Design to help interior product companies take a deep dive into their customer’s journey and re-imagine an experience that doesn't solely depend on in-person interactions. As for the podcast, Nicole and her expert guests provide insight on dominating the market through shifting demands and creating digital experiences that keep designers engaged with your brand. Each week, TID shares inspirational content that will guide you to exceed revenue goals for your interior product company while also creating a lasting impact on the built environment.

When I’m not busy producing the podcast, I’m designing branded templates to promote the podcast on social media, working on content pitches, and curating content that’s catered to TID’s digital audience, customer base, and clientele.

  • The We Got Issues Podcast

The We Got Issues Podcast was a spinoff of the We Got Issues Radio Show, which captures the trials and triumphs of today’s woman. Both shows have been hosted by The Force of Friendship, a multifaceted collaborative of women dedicated to educating, empowering, and inspiring today’s women to be women of purpose and power. The FOF is made up of successful entrepreneurs Gloria Mayfield Banks, Sabrina Goodwin Monday, Caterina Harris Earl, and Crisette Ellis.

When I wasn’t working on the podcast, I was curating content from the radio show to distribute on social media and engage the FOF audience, developing marketing materials, editing sponsorship proposals for FOF events, and copywriting for various aspects of the platform.

  • The Married To Hip Hop Podcast

The Married To Hip Hop Podcast was a music and entertainment pod that featured Top 100 Billboard Recording Artist Tracey Lee. As a Correspondent, I had the great opportunity of hosting my own segment where I discussed the latest news in the music and entertainment industries.

As a Producer for the platform, I was able to assist with the development of show concepts and pitches for guests, topics, and segments. I also curated content from the podcast to distribute on various social media platforms.
